A list and A list preferred start at A16. I’ve been as high as upper a40’s with a list.

The a1-a15 is only business select and anyone who pays for the upgrade.

And business select is actually sometimes a good choice if paying cash because you get so many more southwest points with it. I bought a round trip with it in December to keep my a list preferred for another year.

Well color me corrected - I always thought A-List preferred got A1-15.

I’ve booked Business Select for my college kid at Thanksgiving—that way they don’t have to be stressed about where their seat might be.
