We will be at Caribbean Beach Resort in early September 2020. I have stayed at this resort pre-Skyliner. With the new Skyliner is there still a bus from CBR to Hollywood Studios and Epcot, or is the new Skyliner the only way to get to those parks?

They still have buses, but not as often.
Resorts with skyliner, still have buses. Pre Covid, it was once per hour, so watch the bus schedule on your MDE app. I haven’t heard what the do now for reopening.
