Sharing MM before Activating AP

I will be purchasing an AP to use starting September 29th. In the meantime my DD23 will be in WDW September 8-13. If I have added my AP to MDE but not yet activated it, will her photos (we are linked at friends) show up in my MDE?

When you activate any pictures you have taken in the last year will appear. I am unclear if that also applies to your friends and family. Do you have an extra band?
