We checked in for lunch at Lamplight Lounge for an 11:30 lunch on Monday, August 28. We had a group of 8 people: me, my DH, DS, DD, DSiL, DGD7, DGD4, and DGD 8 months. We were led though the dining room and around a corner to a somewhat isolated hallway. The hostess then had my older 2 DGDs spin the lock to open the door.
There was a door inside that led to a patio and we could hear The Incredicoaster running nearby. I had my DS take some pics. The shots are up a little high because my DGDs are not on any form of social media and we were already seated at the table when I thought about pictures.
interesting, did you also have a balcony out that door with the hole/window?
Part of what I liked about being here was watching the water show so while the room is cool, not having outdoor open-air views would kind of dampen the experience.
Have they gotten the view master yet?
While I have enjoyed the open air views at Lamplight, it was so hot that day that I had requested an indoor table when we checked in. For all of our ADRs that week, I requested inside seating for the A/C.
The door led to a patio or balcony. I am not sure which as I didn’t go out there, but some of the family stepped outside. In hindsight, I should have stepped out.
Going to Philadelphia in my suitcase tomorrow. I will be there for 2 weeks. The older 2 girls love it when Nana brings surprises when I come to visit. This should be a big hit!
