Next was the Dolphin show. Arrived at 11:15 for 11:30 show and got a great seat. The show is a lot more educational than it used to be (as far as I remember)
Sadly no more shows today. When we checked this morning there we a few showtimes in the afternoon, and suddenly nothing.
Fortunately the Dolphin show is what we wanted to see the most, so it worked out.
It is 12, hot and crowded outside. Time to visit the aquarium.
popping inside to escape the heat is a GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing this experience!
Definitely. Seems like there is always a dark air conditioned room a few steps away
This turned out to be a glitch. We were going to leave but then walked in front of a theater. Show was about to start.
We enjoyed Rescue Tails. Each rescued animal has a really sad story. Heartbreaking
The opossum is blind
Not a glitch. You have to click on the attraction icon to see the times. Otherwise it says “no shows today”. Silly.
Smelly sea lion water is not pleasant to be soaked in
Good point
Entered the Shark encounter at 1:30 on our way to get food.
Then it rained (for 10 min, not the never ending thunderstorm forecasted)
Shark under grill had 1 hour wait. We walked to Waterway grill instead.
Having issues uploading pictures. Bad internet where I am.
After eating we saw Orca Encounter. Kids enjoyed the trivia game while we waited. No need for reserved seating.
It was about 3:30 when we decided to go back to the hotel. Terribly packed and hot. Walking against the crowd on our way to the exit
Definitely looks like rope drop is a great idea for Sea World.
Definitely!!
Wrap up:
Rope drop: 30 min before park opening worked out well for us
Thrill data was incredibly useful. Spot on. Except for
Infinity Falls - expected a 30 min wait at 11 but it was 60 min instead.
We did everything we wanted, except for Infinity Falls and Ice Breaker, without waiting more than 10 min for anything.
Kraken was my favorite ride.
Thanks for following!
