Is there a time that’s better than others to ride the Safari at Animal Kingdom? Where there are better chances of seeing more active animals?
We always go twice in a day. We go first thing in the morning (RD) and then around lunch. The lions are never very active, but the one time I saw a female chasing the male was in the morning. It’s still cool enough for them. Other than that, I think I’ve seen more elephant activity in the morning, but also in the afternoon, so it’s about the same. Sometimes you see different smaller animals in the afternoon, too.

Some people think that first thing in the morning and at sunset are the best times but I have been on amazing safaris at random times. At night there were very few animals but the lions were very active- standing on the ledge roaring at us.
