Room request -Preferred room

Hi
I’ve booked a standard room at all star sports and looking to request a room using the fax request provided by TP.
Do i need to request a standard room or can i request a preferred room? Im assuming it would be very unlikely to successfully get a preferred room considering i paid for standard.

I would ask for a standard room. If they can’t give you the preferred room - and they are highly unlikely to give it to you if you haven’t booked it - then they will have no idea where to put you and you could end up anywhere. Better to ask for the room you want in the category you booked, and explain why you want that room. Then if you don’t get it, they may put you somewhere similar.

If you want a preferred room, you should book a preferred room. NEVER count on an upgrade.
