Room price increase?

I booked a room at Pop in March for April 2020. Yesterday I booked a room for my parents same resort same catagory same dates, and the rate was $40 more!!! Is my rate locked in (hopefully)? My emailed reciept states:

ROOM RATES
Room rates are guaranteed as long as your room reservation is not changed, except that Disney reserves the right to charge additional amounts due to changes in applicable tax rates or other governmental charges.

Does that mean my room rate could change if I reduce the number of nights on my reservation? $40 more a night adds up quickly!!!

Any changes or additions will change your rate. That happens when ticket prices change too.

I take this to mean your rate is locked in as long as you don’t change any part of your reservation. The only increase would come from an increase in taxes.
