We get in to MCO around 8pm on a saturday and are staying at Cabana Bay. I’m looking at food options for dinner, assuming around 9pm. We won’t go in to Citywalk. These are the options
Cabana Bay - quickservice
Sapphire Falls - Amatista or Strong Water Tavern.
Aventura - bar 17 (does not take reservations).
Menus all work for us. I worry about the quality of the quickservice at Cabana Bay but can also see us being tired. I also worry about making reservations in case we are late. Bar 17 seems most interesting due to menu and views but worry it might be crowded. Any recommendations on the above places?
We found this totally acceptable at worst and some items were really good. It’s open to 11pm. The Shakes Malt Shoppe is open till midnight and has some of the best shakes in Orlando, IMO.
Since you’re arriving late, I would vote for this. It will be easy and nearby.
I absolutely love Urban Pantry. I am a big fan of their “make your own wok bowls” but my fiends also had the kids grill cheese and pizza. Everything is so fresh.
We are at Strong Water in September. It was good, and we will return but I think you have to research the small plates.
Thanks! I missed Urban Pantry as an option. That seems like a nice step up from Cabana Bay quickservice without over committing on the first night to something too fancy. If the weather is good we will walk over. If the weather is not good then it seems like the Cabana Bay should be ok. Alas, I can’t eat dairy so the shake malt shoppe will be missed. Thanks for the quick responses.
