Just reporting in that on my trip this month, I was not charged a parking fee at PORFQ. I did online check-in and perhaps that is why. If I had checked in at reception, then they could have asked if I had a car.
Did you book the reservation before the announced change? Just wondering if you should have been charged for parking or not basically…
Booked PORFQ via Hotwire April 1, which I think was after the announcement about parking fee.

We were just told by our MVT agent that we won’t be charged parking fees since we booked through them. Anyone else heard that?
I think it is because of the convention rate. No parking fees with convention rates.

definitely no parking fee with MVT rooms, at least not this year.
