Me and my dad will be running the Walt Disney World 5k and half marathon on January 2018. It’s going to be a family trip for us. I usually plan/reserve/make plans all by myself and I have to say I’ve gotten quite good at it. This time we want to stay at the Grand Floridian (we don’t like renting out DVC points) … the thing is … right now its ±$700 + tax a night. It’s kind of scary to look at the total for a week stay.
Does anyone know when discounts will/have usually been released for January? I talked to a TA to see if she could get me a good rate but she actually gave me the exact total on the disneyworld website. She told me that discounts usually come out 2 months prior to traveling time…
