And I’d like to be on record that I’m not a fan of the Disney Vault. Our DVDs of Toy Story 1 & 2 were in horrible shape. Time to upgrade to Blu-Ray. But they cannot be found at Best Buy or Walmart. I finally tracked down a copy of each at Vintage Stock, a used DVD/comic book/video game store.
What happens to people who lose a movie when a movie goes back in the vault?
I’ve never heard of any of the Toy Story movies being put into the Disney vault. I just checked Amazon, and it looks like they have all three available on Blu-ray: Link Here
Some individuals will sell the DVDs and Blu-rays for the movies that have gone into the vault through Amazon - usually for exorbitant prices though. A few weeks ago I saw Snow White go for over $90.00.
Well that’s good to know. I guess Best Buy was just out. I didn’t have time to Amazon it.
I don’t think any of the Pixar Movies, or pretty much anything post the advent of DVD are being Vaulted.
