Ratatouille names

It’s one of my favorites… but I’m the nut job who like the Tiki Room, Iasw, and CBJ, so what do you expect :grinning:

Just don’t get yourself down about it. We’ll all still love you!

That could be an AWESOME ride. I could see them actually using a system modified to be something akin to Soarin’ to pull it off, too.

Hey, I LOVE the tiki room!

When I first saw the movie, I was like “They have GOT to do a ride where the vehicle is the doors!!!”

You can imagine my disappointment when I rode the Monsters, Inc ride at DLR and it was NOT that at all.

That’s a wait that I’ve had for 10-plus years. It hasn’t happened, and there is NO indication that it will ever happen…

RegRdless of what the “officially” call it, on here it will just be “Rat”…:grinning:

Me too. :frowning:

So sad, because it would be an AMAZING ride!

For some reason your post made me think of one of my all-time favorite John Wayne lines.

“Mr. Rat, I have a writ here says you’re to stop eating Chin Lee’s cornmeal forthwith. Now it’s a rat writ, writ for a rat, and this is lawful service of same.” - Rooster Cogburn (True Grit, 1969).

I will gladly join you in the nutjob gallery liking Tiki Room, CBJ, holding Ratatouille as one of the best Pixar movies.

For Iasw, I do love it now, but have to admit, it was one that I really had to grow an appreciation for. Not until I had a 2 yr old who loved and requested repeat rides on the “boat castle” could I sit through it without a look of complete & utter disdain. And ever since then seeing his love of all things Mary Blair blossom, it’s only grown on me more & more (First time in the Contemporary at 4 yrs old, without me telling him anything about the hotel he pointed at the murals & said “Mom look at the walls, it looks just like it’s a small world!”)

This exactly. I was a bratty teenager when Monsters Inc came out so to me it was just the movie my annoying little brother would play on a constant loop, except for the scene with the doors!

I also remember getting to the door part in the DCA ride for the first time & just thinking “Oh yeah, just rub it in my face that you DIDN’T go that route.” But in hindsight, I do appreciate being able to take my little ones on a ride that is as enjoyable as the Monsters Inc dark ride. It’s been among each of my kids’s faves until they hit the 40" in mark to truly enjoy most of what DCA has to offer.

Ratatouille was one of my favorites! And very in the spirit of a mouse-led theme park. I like the messaging of underdog works hard and achieves goals…somewhat better than the messaging of princesses wait for your prince to come.

They ARE doing Zootopia…in Shangai.

I saw that. Still waiting on my check. They probably put it China just to get out of paying me.

Well apparently there was an article done recently with someone connected with Disneyland.

He said there were concerns that a certain element of Zootopia fans would not sit well with a family-orientated theme park. According to him, it would not happen in the US.

For those still clueless, do what I did and look up the term “furries”. But probably not on a work computer!

The internet is rife with Elsa porn, and still not even a rumor of shutting down FEA.
