they better be bringing some of this stuff back by our Feb trip or I seriously may just reconsider. It was an impulse buy trip anyways. All the extras are what make it magical

*** Update ***

Rafiki’s Planet Watch is closing permanently as of October 21st. The animal facilities will remain, but the area will be closed to guests.

Huh. Wonder what they’re going to do with the train.

I also wonder if it’ll be open for part of October then. I’ll google a bit unless you have an article handy. :grimacing:

What is the water painting around fantasyland?

CMs come out with buckets of water and brooms. They paint Disney characters and stuff on the paths, which of course are transient. But are really cool and fun to watch.

We once saw a couple of CMs doing this, and Cindy’s stepmom and sisters came over and started criticising the pictures loudly. CMs chased them away with the wet brooms. Made for a great little scene, kinda like Citizens of Hollywood.

Ugh!!! My child is most excited for all of the trains and we are cutting it super close for the magic kingdom railroad too with our plans due to the tron closures! I was relying on this train as a subduing option if the main railroad ends up closing earlier than expected! Please don’t close all the trains Disney!!!
