Purchasing multi-day AP ticket discount

Hello! I am purchasing AP’s starting this summer for me and the kids, but hubby only wants to go once, on a short visit next June (2024) when we plan to stop on our way to our cruise. Also at most all he wants to do is 1.5 days in the parks + 1 day volcano bay.

With the AP “multi-day” discount, I read they have to be purchased at the gate, but I’m wondering if I can purchase a 2-day ticket in advance on one of my earlier trips for the dates we will all be visiting in June 2024. I’d like to not waste time at the ticket window on one of our last trips whereas I’m sure I can find time on another trip to stop by the ticket window. I’ll purchase VB separately. Or do these discount tickets have to be purchased “day of”?

You’ll likely get a better price from Undercover Tourist or another ticket outlet than using the AP ticket discount on the gate price. And, you can buy ahead of time.

Great tip, thanks!! I had assumed there wouldn’t be any discount on a two day ticket but there does seem to be some. I’ll most likely go this way.
