You are officially invited to dinner when DH makes crab cakes. 100% crab with a little breading on the outside to hold it together.

ETA: I am being totally sincere. If your trip home is delayed because of drones, hop on Southwest from MCO to ISP and I’ll pick you up. I’ve already imagined the whole thing in my brain. It’ll be brilliant! I’ve even already reassured my DH (in my brain) when he says (which he will) “What were you thinking?” To which I replied (in my brain) “He’s been to Disney 3 times in the past 2 years and he’s going back in June” Which in and of itself makes you safe. Explaining that I invited a stranger that I met on the internet home to my DD14 will be a little trickier. One of those do as I say, not as I do moments. Maybe it’s not such a good idea… but that’s never stopped me before. Your open invitation stands. You can fly home through JFK or LGA. See you soon

Exactly! Same thwarmp thwarmp thwarmp sound when they walk in unison, same cold lifeless black eyes and devoid facial expression. Right there with you!

A couple years ago, we were there on a day when the MNSSHP was starting (but we weren’t staying for the party). Crowds were actually great and quite small all day. Then, shortly before the party, the place practically exploded with people. It was like crazy busy. Fortunately, we left.

So, the reason I’m saying this is because I have a question: Did you notice an increase in park attendance for the party itself compared to a couple hours before? Or, maybe it isn’t a fair question since (1) it was a rainy day earlier and (2) you went to see Mary Poppins.

Okay, Scrooge!

I love that film!

Where are you Profmatt? I need my fix!

Is this at the Columbus Zoo? We went a few weeks ago and loved it

The screen has been showing this for the past like twenty minutes!

I was writing a long review of MVMCP here, but I promoted it to its own thread: Event review D18

Yes, we go every year. They do a great job!

Toledo Zoo has a similar event called The Lights Before Christmas (which, awkwardly enough, run all the way through the week AFTER Christmas!). We’ve been going for several years. In fact, we get a Toledo Zoo family membership almost exclusively for the purpose of seeing the Lights each year.

Thanks for that image. Now that’s all I’ll see if I ever experience that parade! :joy:

Back row, in the rain, when you are sliding all over the place, is the best experience I have ever had on that ride!
