Sounds like you have great trip planned!
Extended Evening Hours are usually Monday (Epcot) & Wednesday (MK).
Because of the parties they will probably switch the Wednesdays to AK.
But they don’t often change the days of EEH, so it is unlikely to be on a Tuesday.
Thanks. Since Monday is Labor Day, I heard they would not have EEH. I guess I will have to wait to see what the actually schedule is for EEHs and MNSSHP before firming up my plans.
Since you’ve splurged for Grand Floridian, I hope you carve out some time to enjoy the resort. The restaurants there are highly reviewed and it’s a lovely atmosphere, especially if you can catch a piano player in the lobby.
It does not seem possible that is has been almost 10 months since I started this thread. In just 2 days I will be making our advanced dining reservations. Definitely going for Space 220 Lounge, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Be our Guest, and possibly one at Beak and Barrel. These are all about experience and not so much the food. Also planning on doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour.
I was also thinking about going to the Hoop-Dee-Doo revue. We have never done that and thought it might be another experience to check off the list. I was wondering what the thoughts on that may be.
Anyway, the closer this gets the more real it becomes.
We love Hoop de Doo, and do it each time.
It’s fun with some cheesy songs and jokes, with some interactive elements. They also give you time to eat during the show. I say go for it!
We have never done Hoop-Dee-Doh either! But we have it on our to-do list for our upcoming trip in December. It sounds like a lit of fun.
It is a hoot!
I’d definitely bring ear plugs next time we go. I always say I will buy then forget. ![]()
I don’t know what to do about cheeks that hurt from smiling so much. ![]()
Now that we are within the 60 day mark things are getting real. I feel like I went through a rite of passage this week, the first time I have made an ADR at 60 days after all these years. I made reservation for Space 220 Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, Beak and Barrel, and Be Our Guest. I also booked a Keys to the Kingdom tour.
This week prices dropped on the HRH at Universal, so I ended up adding 3 days to our trip to experience UOR and Epic Universe.
I know this is going to be expensive but I really want this to be special. My Wife loves Disney and we have not done some of these things in the past as I was always saving money. We are entering the our final window of opportunity in our lives, so I figure there is not reason to hold back.
I also want to thank the people here who so generously share their knowledge. It has been a big help.
Is Memory Maker on your radar?
.
If not, be sure to scroll all the way down to get descriptions.
Solid reasoning! I whole-heartedly agree and hope you love UOR / Epic! It’s totally worth it IMO.

I hope you have an awesome, magical time. I can only hope to be just like you when I get to that age - really looking forward to a report on your trip.
It sounds to me like you might need to start planning another trip, just to do everything you’d like to do!
Make sure to have time to rest and enjoy the Grand Floridian too. Don’t try to squeeze TOO much in.
One rest day for every two park days is what I do, but you might even need to sprinkle in a bit more downtime than that. Best wishes for a wonderful trip!
