Has anyone had the beef tenderloin from the prixe fix lunch menu at Le Cellier? I love steak but I am confused a bit, is beef tenderloin a steak or more like a roasted beef?
Beef tenderloin can be prepared both ways I think, as a roast or cut into steaks. I searched online"beef tenderloin at Le Cellier" and google images sent a pic from the Disney Food Blog, it looks like it's a steak and looks super good!
I alos tried looking at google images but all I get are pics of the fillet or strip steak. I can't find the tenderloin one
Beef tenderloin is usually roasted whole and then cut into medallion portions for serving. It's boneless. I would consider it to be more like roast beef rather than a traditional steak, which I think of as having a bone to carve around.
