Hi all,

Is it possible to change my username for forum purposes?

You can change your user name for all Touring Plans things on the main TP website. I think it’s under your profile or membership info. It will affect the Lines app, Chat, Forum as well as any comments in the TP blog.

I just looked. It’s changed since they added the Dashboard feature. If you log onto the TPwebsite (on a desktop, not a mobile device) you can go to your dashboard. One if the frames/columns has your profile in it. There’s a link to “edit profile” there.

Hi Sally. Thanks. Unfortunately, changing my username on the main TP website did not affect the forum.

Ah. I understand now. I think it takes 24 hours for the servers to catch up with profile changed here in the Forum.

I remembered this coming up before, and according to the answers in that particular post, you can change your name on TP, but it will remain the same on your forum profile. I wish I would have known this before I chose such a boring username.
