Port Orleans (Royal Rooms) or Caribbean Beach?

Hi! We are booked on a fall 2020 Disney Cruise and will be spending a few days pre-cruise at WDW. We have two princess-obsessed girls buuuut they also love BB-8 and all things droids. Accordingly, we plan on spending at least 2 days at HS/ Epcot. So what seems like a better fit- Royal Rooms or Caribbean Beach (preferred room) for the gondola access? We haven’t been to either resort. Thanks!

If you’re going to HS/Epcot the answer seems clear - Caribbean Beach with gondola access will be the way to go.

Can we please start calling them flying death buckets?

Definitely Caribbean Beach due to the gondolas with trips to Epcot/HS.

So your recommendation is Port Orleans? :grinning:

No I’m anti flying death buckets.

Please don’t scare the newbies.

Thank you.

They are not 300 ft. in the air as in ski lifts.

I live at about 15 feet above sea level 2 blocks from the bay and ocean. With that said anything more then 25 feet off the ground is to high for me. So I say nay nay on the FDB.
(sorry for the acronym but I don’t want @OBNurseNH to scold me again.)

I understand what the acronym means and so it’s just as bad.

I award you no points.

And may god have mercy on your soul

I know where I am going because I was a railroad locomotive engineer for 40 years. Ran many a coal train and heaven as I am told doesn’t need any coal but H-- does to keep the sinners warm. Therefore I will not worry about Acronyms :smiling_imp:
