Polynesian Recommendations/ How to filter out dvc rooms in room search?

We are planning on staying at the Poly in May but I have recently read some not-so-great reviews about the rooms being too dark and moldy. I was wondering if anyone has stayed there recently and had any suggestions on which longhouse to stay in or whether we should switch to a different resort. Thanks!

Edited to add: how do I filter out DVC rooms when I am searching in TP?

The DVC room types are the studio villas. Choosing your regular room type will automatically filter those out.

Thanks. I was confused because the only “Standard View” room said “Standard Room/ Villa”. I realized TP has not changed the terminology from “Garden View” to “Standard View” for the resort rooms.
