We plan to show this information in a couple of places:
On the /walt-disney-world/lightning-lane page
For each park
The question for each park is: Should we show it on the park landing page, or on a separate page?
The advantage to showing it on the park landing page is that it’s less clicks to get to.
The advantage to showing it on a separate page is that page can be dedicated to that one thing and nothing else.
My sense is that new users would probably find the information easier if it was on the landing page. And we could also include links to “Hey, if you don’t know what lightning lane is, click here.”
Where do you want to see a park’s current Lightning Lane return times?
On the park landing page (/magic-kingdom)
On its own page (e.g., /magic-kingdom/lightning-lane)
I vote landing page, but I think you have to be very intentional and mindful of where on the landing page you put it. It’s very busy, so putting it front and center could overwhelm. I also would caution against putting it way at the bottom because many people don’t scroll that far.
Ideally I think a separate page would be better — or perhaps clickable so it can be enlarged on its own page? - but in order for it not to be lost and unused information that folks could find quite helpful, somewhere in the middle would be good.
