I heard somewhere or other that the phone booth on the London waterfront no longer plays a special message when you dial 62442. Can anyone confirm if that’s true? Thanks

Yep its broke

Confirmed. You can no longer actually use the dial pad. Visited in early May, and was disappointed to find they had replaced the interactive bit.

Supposedly the message now plays automatically without dialing when you lift the receiver, but it was broken in my last visit.
