Parking at BWV

I was initially strongly leaning toward towards the rental car…but between tolls, parking at BWV, the parking garage at Disney springs, I think it’s a bit of a hassle. I’ll do grocery delivery.

And maybe one of my cousins can pick us up at boardwalk and take us to Disney springs on the nights we are meeting them there.

I’ll report back on whether or not I have buyers remorse!

One of the times that I most appreciate having a rental, even if all other things are equal, is on departure day. I can go wherever I want - to another resort for a reservation, to a park, to DS - and have all of my stuff with me, so that I don’t then have to go back to my home base resort to get all my stuff and be picked up.

Just a thought.

But yes, rideshare picks up right at the lobby entrance

Edited: sorry for the late reply - didn’t realize you’d already decided

It’s a very long walk when your villa is up near the Boardwalk itself.
Our Boardwalk stay was when I began to value valet parking.

I agree the last day is a factor - especially if we end up at MK. I suspect we will be parked out, and the only thing I could see us doing is taking an uber from BWV to the front entrance of EP to rope drop guardians and then ride once last time using lllsp.

Day 1: $75 uber (including tip) from Hyatt House orlando to BWV

Day 2 PM: Disney springs - thinking I’ll ask my cousin to come get us and bring us back

Day 5 AM: $25 Uber to Kidani. Bus home.

Day 8 AM: $20 uber to AK. PM: $20 to disney springs. $20 to MK (only if we can’t squeeze into car and get a ride from my cousin)

Day 9: uber to front of Epcot $10.

$75 uber to MCO.

That’s $250. I can round up to $300.

Choices, choices!

I’ve never paid more than $35-$40 with tip to Uber to/from MCO to my resorts (POFQ, CBR, Pop, ASMu, ASMo, AKL)

Good to know. We will be 4 with luggage so would need uber xl. I checked a few times today for rates and saw $50 sans tip come up alot but that is great news.

When I use XL it’s more in that $50 range plus tip.

$35-40 for basic though for sure most times

:joy: You should Google map out the steps. I feel like the IG rope drop advantage might win here and the steps might be about equal.
