We are thinking of visiting Disneyland on our second day for the magic morning and then do the princess lunch at Ariel’s Grotto (DCA). Is is crazy to switch parks just for lunch? How long is the wait to enter DCA around 11:15am or Disneyland after lunchtime?

It’s totally reasonable. Walking from one set of gates to the other is maybe two minutes? Lines to get into either park will probably not be very long, especially during the week.

Not crazy at all! Ariel’s Grotto is an amazing lunch and well worth hopping. As state already, crossing the esplande is a very short walk. You probably want to plan for 15-20 minutes for the total process including getitng through the turnstiles & then the walk back to Ariel’s Grotto. But really it could take as little as 5-7 minutes, just in case you get stuck in a delay going through the gates.
