Okay, if I reserve HS and go there at 10 am, then I hop to Epcot at 2, and then I hop back to HS at 4, am I guaranteed entry to HS at 4? In other words, does WDW hold a slot all day for each person with a morning reservation?
If not, there is no reason why they couldn’t release the customer’s reserved slot when they tap into a different park in the afternoon. Well, other than the need to tweak the existing code to make it work that way. Customers would have to be told that by hopping to a different park in the afternoon they were giving up their slot from their morning reservation, that’s all.
Well, I can get why a company wouldn’t go to the expense. There is a reason to - to make a system that works better - but I get that benefit might be outweighed in WDW’s mind by the money and time it would take to create new code.
