Ugh. But it’s so perfect for my needs / desires. I haven’t found anything else I like as much.
You may be right. I know that.
Perhaps the search goes on . . .

Serious question… what makes a jacket loud??
I was assuming she meant crinkliness.
I think movement. The “shrish shrish shrish” sound (technical term) when your arms move against the torso when walking.
I already said I’d do it. No need to suck up to me.
Beautiful and fragrant??
There’s no pleasing you. Yesterday you said I was being mean to you. Now you’re saying I’m sucking up.
British people might get the reference. A judge in a famous case described the defendant’s wife as “fragrant”. It became a bit of a joke.
BREAKING NEWS
Just had an online chat with guest services at Universal Orlando. They said it should be fine, provided it fits through the X-ray machine. Which it will, easily.
Yay
Someday perhaps Columbia will rate jackets with a crinkle/shrish factor similar to TOG. I must just own all quiet jackets!
Very good!
Most rain jackets are noisy. If you have a jacket that isn’t noisy, most likely it is just water resistant, not water proof.
I bought a Columbia jacket several years back thinking I was getting a water proof jacket. But after getting home with it, and looking more closely at the label, I found it just said “water resistant.” And, sure enough, if I’m in a light rain briefly, it will hold up. If I’m in a harder rain or rain for a longer time period, it eventually soaks through.

Congrats!
Doesn’t mean Disney will agree, of course.
But full marks to UOR for having online chat. Very quick and responsive, too. Don’t even know how I’d contact WDW except via e-mail.
They have chat too…
Try making a reservation> won’t be long before the thing pops up saying “NEED HELP!?WELL DO YA?! DO YAH?!”
Oh. I’ll try that.
Why is nobody considering the option that you wear a second pair of shorts under the cargo shorts, that way when you get to security you can just remove the cargo shorts completely and walk through.
Well, yeah. I mean…why else do you think I was spending so much time trying to find the perfect Disney underwear?
Well, since people still haven’t listened to me on the wonders of SparkleSkirts, both for chafing and storage reasons, at least one more. As Always, Mr. Turner.
I’m American. Duh.
Not on the U.K. site.
An effort, I might observe, that you would have failed at, had it not been for the gracious assistance of ahem a certain other member of this forum…
