On other days can kids bring a bag? (Such as an extra set of clothes for DD4?)
I would think so but she would probably need to carry it. They can message you through the app if she needs something too.
I would think they could bring a bag so long as they could keep it on & track of it themselves. You could have one of the older siblings wear it, if they’re willing. Luckily a change of clothes for a DD4 is almost small enough to tuck into a very small space so I would go with the smallest bag you have with you.
It’s generally mostly the same CMs everyday too. So find one and just have a chat with them. They are just SO good.
Oh ok so sounds like there’s not cubbies or anywhere to stash stuff?
Here’s a better view of the Midway in the daytime:
Also, the app lists the schedule for the clubs. So you can plan their time around that. Like my DS5 loved the slime making “Stitch’s Space Goo” and they had a PJ party on the first night. Don’t miss the Force experiments! They will announce them over the intercom within the club too so they can join if they are on the other side.
Not really cubbies. There are a few shelves behind the desk where they could probably stash something if you ask. They usually have the crafts there for them to take home.
This thread was incredibly helpful as I prepare for online check in next week! One question - if our reservations are linked and I can view them in my Disney account on DCL, I can complete online check in for any / all of those passengers? We have 5 staterooms but only 2 of which are my nuclear family, but the rest are not tech savvy enough to deal with this process so I was planning to just get all their photos/info and do it myself. Thanks!
Yes, I was able to check in both of my parents in a separate stateroom. Just do one room at a time and it’s possible the second room might get a slightly later port arrival time.
Thanks for answering this! I assumed that was the case but it’s nice to have it confirmed. For our December cruise, my girls will be in a separate cabin (not connected to ours) since my oldest is now over 18 and I wanted to make sure I could check them in when I did the check in for myself and DH.
Do you know if I can put my credit card as the one for charges for their cabin?
Haha yes you can! We did this by accident and had to true up at the end.
Awesome! Though DD is technically an adult for this cruise, we’re still paying for it all, so it’s good to know I can put my credit card info in for them.
I did basically everything on behalf of my parents except download the app on their phones so that we could message on the ship.
And I had been told that we had to call/request to dine together but once we were linked we were assigned the same table.
