Our trip is in 29 days! Our flight arrives at 8:30 am and I’m hoping to make the most of our first park day. Question: if we get our Magic Bands by mail and do online check-in, do we need to go to the resort for any reason other than dropping off luggage before heading to the park? I know there’s still a welcome packet, but can’t we get into the parks with just our Magic Bands now? Thanks!
Technically the check in activates the cards. If you have any trouble they should be able to fix it at Guest Relations at the park. If you have a dining plan, however, you’ll want to check in at the resort first.
