If I don’t book all 3 FPP at Epcot (due to low crowd levels/low wait times/group FPP limitations), can I book the SDFP in the same group after I use the one FPP in the park?

Ride TT then attempt to book FEA or another ride in the same group as test track while in EP
No. You must use or expire two tier two in order to book another tier one in the same park.

I will say we booked TT FPP for 9, used Spaceship Earth and Figment (which we moved up so all were done by 11:00) and we were able to get both Soarin and FEA FPP for the afternoon for 3 people before 5:00. So we definitely had luck with the SDFP!
