No TSM Fastpasses April 9 - May 7?

According to various rumors Toy Story Mania (TSM) will not offer FastPasses from April 9 - May 7, 2018 as they’re reducing ride capacity to just 1 track during construction, see http://thekingdominsider.com/toy-story-midway-mania-no-fastpasses/.

FastPass reservations will not be available from April 9th through May 7th 2018 according to cast members. This is likely when the ride will be reduced in capacity to just one track. The standby line will be the only way to gain admittance to the attraction during this period.

Any recommendations for touring HS and visiting TSM with this change?

Just RD really, get there a good hour before and walk with purpose. Or you may have luck getting in line just before park close.

This was years ago, but we only waited about 10 minutes during Fantasmic and then walked right on again right at park close. But this likely doesn’t work with young kids.
