I think it’s only using general terms, such as “may be unavailable,” and not specific declarations of something currently being unavailable or then back on-line. But it’s a start.

It seems like Scott Gustin is saying that it was developed to let people know when the SL is down but we will see how it works? He generally has details others don’t. He mentions alerts.

ETA: Nevermind. I found it. It is at the top of the same page!
Unless this is a work in progress or looks differently when in the parks this isn’t really helpful. It just says SL and boats may be down. And I was hoping this would actually have a schedule on it.

The “learn more about car locator” link goes nowhere.
Car locator is located below the tile menu, where one wouldn’t find it easily.

That did become active when I was in the parks. I received an alert. I did not use it. I also received an alert from Google Maps.

No not the ability to use it - that makes sense that it won’t work til you’re there
What I’m referring to is in the Parking link within the new Transportation tile, there is a link that says, “Learn more about car locator”. That link goes nowhere. You would think it would take you to an information page about the feature, even if the feature isn’t available (there would be messaging to that end)

I believe @OBNurseNH was specifically talking about how that link to “Learn more about car locator.” doesn’t actually take you anywhere.

Gee - I’d hate to hear about the indirect route!

I guess it depends on HOW indirect. But…being offered some alternatives might be nice if more than one option is within a certain threshold of another.

Oh! On my app the link starts with “applewebdata”and that makes it an invalid link.
The info is in the app but it is a bad link.
