New Touring Plan Idea: Utilizing Interactive Queues?

Hi- I’m finalizing our touring plans for Spring Break 2016 for our trip of 7: grandparents and kids ages 7, 5, and 3. I’ve been trying to balance out walk and wait times with the fun interactive queues and sitting down/shade (shows, etc.) for the older folks in the afternoons.

Taking into account interactive queues for my young kids changes my calculations. For instance, before the Dumbo play area opened, we would do that first. Now I WANT to save that until after lunch to get a 20 minute air conditioned break and have the kids blow off steam.

Anyone else develop a plan that gives weight to the interactive “fun” queues? Is there a touring plan for young kids that takes this into account? If not, it seems like it would be a great addition.
