My son, CM Woodrow, was at work in Asia today, and he was thrilled to see a set-up for a new sitar performer. Chakranadi had a stroke some time ago, and he passed away in 2023. Asia has been pretty quiet since then.
I don’t know the names of the new performers, but there’s a new sitar player and someone on drums. Woodrow says they’re wonderful and well worth the wait! He also says it’s just so nice to have music filling the air in that spot. I can’t wait to see them in December!
Although it seems at the expense of the Harambe Acrobats. Hopefully they’ll return too.
