Per this TPG article, Marriot’s new WDW hotel is on track for a 2021 opening, giving another option for staying at WDW on points:

I’m really interested in this given the suites for larger families! If the price point is more reasonable than Disney’s suites/villas we will definitely give it a try!

This is great news, thanks. The offerings for larger rooms are fairly limited at Crescent Lake, which is our preferred location, so I’m really looking forward to this.
This is great! Why in the world would they name it the Swan Reserve. For pete’s sake. It’s just asking for confusion.

Well, I get the “Reserve” part- that’s so they can charge more. But the “Swan” part, you got me there. Besides confusing, it makes the place sound like a wildlife sanctuary. But I’m still happy it’s being built!
