New fencing going up between Big Thunder Mountain and Villains Construction site

Bioreconstruct posted these pictures on X of the fence blocking the view from BTMRR and the surrounding construction site. Won’t be able to see anything while on the ride

This might limit some of the sight lines but you’ll definitely still be able to see into the construction site. That area is already up on a hill so you can sort of see into the site over the current walls by just standing on the ground. You’ll definitely be able to see some from the higher parts of the ride!

Are you still at Disney? I couldn’t remember how long your trip was. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

No :sob: I had to come home without a ride on BTMR. I had been really optimistic. (I gotta finish my TR.)

Is anyone riding it yet? I thought it was supposed to open fully this weekend, and they said there would be previews. But I’m not aware of any. I begin to wonder whether it will actually run late.

I did not see people on it at all on the 21st or the 23rd. I did see cars going. Sometimes at regular speed and sometimes very slowly. The walls are still completely covering the queue so there is no way for guests to even access for soft openings. There definitely will not be previews at this point but I was thinking there would be soft openings. There are still a few days I guess but it is supposed to open on Monday!

I think the previews are for RnR?

You may be right. I try, but I can’t keep track!

I’m going to be there the second weekend in May, and I hope to catch the ride–though I may not if it’s too busy!

Maybe a soft opening this coming weekend? Let’s get this party started!

All that effort to keep people from seeing what is being built when we all have bioreconstruct to peek over the wall for us!
