Very cool. I mean “cool” that you got to see it … I’m not celebrating a scene depicting the death of an elephant.

I get it.. It was cool! The ride was a fast pace action packed story to arrest the poachers. When I took my daughter to AK for the first time in 2013 I had hyped it up soooo much. Then we got on board and it was a lovely slow drive through a zoo.

I kept looking around going, “Wait? Why isn’t this bridge “rickety” and dangerous looking anymore?? Why aren’t we going above 5 mph?? Is the ride foing to “start” soon??”

I also got to do Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter that trip. It’s my #1 ride that I’m so glad I got to do before it closed!

I liked Kilimanjaro Safaris much better with the poacher theme than the current version

For me the only thing disappointing was the ending was a letdown. It was Nigerian Dwarf Goats, like you see in every petting zoo. Or our backyard.

I get that not everyone has goats, but a little more non-backyard might have been nice. Like maybe some Llamas, or exotic sheep.

It was amusing when one of the guides “Baa-ed” and then a goat would too (repeat several times).
