I know. I mean, what in the world is Disney thinking giving us so many things to try. Are they TRYING to get us to throw money at them? :face_savoring_food:

Thanks for posting this about the food! I currently have an early LTT dinner res on party night because it’s more the speed for my group, where we appreciate a proper sit down meal. But some of these offerings have me re-thinking. Some fun options, but I won’t be hungry after LTT!

I see more savory I’m wanting to try, versus JWN which has more sweets I want to try.

I’ll be watching to see how crazy the people get for the Mickey popcorn bucket(?), maybe it’s a sipper. It’s so cute, and I would love to have one, but I’m not standing in line for 2 hours to be told they are out for the night. That just wastes my park time and irks me.

Also, the new party cookies sound yummy!

my party ticket is on the last party night so I’m not expecting to see any popcorn buckets at all :frowning: that could be a good thing

Thanks for posting. I hadn’t seen the list. This sounds right up DD10s alley!

Glad you were helped! I started to cut and paste to print out for my kids, and it dawned on me I could put it here, too.

You’re welcome. I penciled in a QS dinner between 4PM and 7PM, but now I need to review this list carefully and make decisions.

You’re welcome!

Yes, Sir. There are a lot of drinks I’m interested in. Will beat the cocoa and cider!

I’ve read through the food list for the 3rd time now :smirk: and happy to note some items are available during regular park hours…. whew… less to try on party night. I also really like that Mickey, pluto car tree bucket and remember that there were several places to grab it, but on the last night I’m not sure there will be any; hopefully they spread out inventory over all party nights. We’re not going to JN b/c not… so I don’t have those food temptations to deal w/

I am actually surprised, after perusing the food list, how few items actually appeal to me. It was pretty easy to narrow down to what I want.

that’s helpful! I’ve eliminated a lot, but still too much I’m curious about

HA! I just sat here and highlighted the ones available outside party hours. Most are beverages or TS places, BUT there are a few snacks we will look for on non-party times next week.
Our trip starts Saturday. I’ll report back!

What interests you?

There are quite a few desserts I’d like to try. I want the CHH Gingerbread Cake. And Mickey Whoopie Pie. And one of the Gingerbread drinks - there are a few.

Food wise I’m interested in the Holiday Pot Roast Melt at Cosmic Ray’s. I had a spicy pit roast sandwich from there at MNSSHP last year that was really good. But the Carne Asada Loaded Fries at Pecos Bill will be fun to try.

I am sad there is no Minnie Gingerbread ice cream desserts at Storybook Treats. The Reindeer Sundae won’t wow my girls.

This makes me realize I want them to come out with all the resort holiday treats and the Festival of the Holiday booths!

YES - it would be so nice to not have to just happen upon things. I want to snack with purpose.

True story - Tab suddenly wanted a milk shake at EP. The app was so annoying to try to find a milk shake.

all of this!!!

I bet DFB will do this, if they haven’t already plus the Disney Blog is good about this stuff too. I know one year I went out of my way to go to AKL for a QS reindeer treat, and CR had some tasty things too.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
The Gingerbread Milk Shake. However, I probably won’t try to get this…it is really hard to accurately calculate carbs in a milk shake (spoiler, it is REALLY high), which means I risk having super high blood sugars if I underestimate, or causing an extreme low if I overestimate. While this can be true of any dessert, shakes are particularly troublesome.

Golden Oak Outpost
My wife really wants to try the Yuletide Chicken Strips. Me, not as much. I may sample a bit of hers if she allows it.

Pecos Bill
Carne Asada Loaded Fries. I don’t know if I get it, but it is in the running…probably 3rd place.

Columbia Harbor House
Gingerbread cake…although, this will be if we decide to share it.

Pinocchio Village Haus
Italian Sausage & Meatball Lasagna Flatbread is in second place. I’m…intrigued! I love pizza. I love lasagna. So what happens when you put them together?

Friar’s Nook
Jalapeno Popper tots…my wife’s choice. They look good to me as well, but…I think my number one choice is the…
Pig in a Blanket! Very mundane, I guess. I’m not adventurous. But the parmesan pastry and crispy onions is enough to start my salivating.

Not too much of the dessert side of things interests me…mostly because I think so many of the desserts at Disney tend to be WAY too sweet for my tastes. (Although, at Jollywood, the Gingerbread Churros is definitely on the menu!!! Not usually a churro kinda guy, but gingerbread? Yes, please!)
