If I purchase MM, and then decide to move my trip for whatever reason, does MM go with the ticket? This is not for a package but resort only + purchased tickets.
I can’t say from experience but since there is no advantage to buying way in advance, why not wait until 4-7 days before your trip when you are hopefully more set on the dates?

That would be the smart thing. The planner in me though wants everything set way ahead of time and worries that I’ll forget so close to our trip.

MM is independent of packages and tickets. When you purchase MM, it will stay on your account until you use it.

Set a reminder in your phone.
I hardly do anything anymore unless prompted by a notification
