By the way where is Matt? Last post in this thread 17 hours ago?
I think it’s six hours. Hopefully, he’s off having adventures that he can regale us with tales of.
Canadian Crew — I am standing opposite the Hockey Hall of Fame. The sun is out. I’m hungry.
Instructions, please.
Forage and eat, man
What genre of food do you want? I work a couple blocks from there, so have been to most of the restaurants in that area.
Google maps says there’s a Tim Hortons nearby,
I guess that’s why we were talking about them all day while you were gone.
If you want fast food court, go inside at the Tim Hortons, then look for stairs down in the main lobby of Brookfield Place. There’s a huge food court there.
Tim Hortons has sandwiches, hot sandwiches and soup etc if you are hungry and want something quick. You’re apparently at the best one there so the coffee and donuts should be fresh too!
Cross to the opposite corner of that interesection, and go a few steps up Yonge St. The entrance to the Tim Hortons is just behind Spirit of Hockey (the hockey hall of game gift shop)
The best of touring plans . . .
Yay for blue skies!!
Oh no! Thankfully there are several other Timmies nearby.
There is one a 2 minute walk away - 33 Yonge St right by Berczy Park
Have you ever had a still hot glazed Krispy Kreme? Still hot, not reheated.
Or there is a British Pub called The Flatiron: A Firkin Pub nearby too. 49 Wellington St E. it has an outdoor patio.

@sanstitre_has_left_the_building ^ you don’t have to eat at McDonalds again - there are options!
That’s a nice looking building on the left.
I think you’re just in the area that closes when all the office workers go home. Plus hours everywhere are worse because of- well, I’m sure you can guess! I went hunting for a restaurant I liked near where you are (pre-covid) and of course it’s closed down.
I think McD’s is better than Tim Horton’s though so I support your decision. Try the spicy nuggets!
