Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor - age question

Hi - Is Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor appropriate for a 3 year old, or would it be over her head and potentially scary (eg it’s in a dark theatre)? We have an option to just have the grandparents take our 1st grade son to this attraction and we can keep our 3 year old occupied if necessary. In this case, would we (me and my husband) be missing much by skipping it?

Thanks! I think I’ll have the grandparents take both kids while my husband and I ride space mountain!

I second what @FIICTIION said. My 3 year old liked it quite a bit when we went in Sept.
