Memory Maker share instruction question

Can someone explain how sharing memory maker works?

In simple terms . . .

Someone pays for a Memory Maker package. They assign it to a brand new MDE account. That account makes friends with everyone who’s going to participate in the share. The settings are chosen so that everyone can use the MM. The cost of the MM is split between the participants, with the person who bought it receiving payments (e.g. by PayPal) from the other participants.

That’s the basic idea.

sooo because you are linked through the other mde account the photos will show up automatically by scanning your magic band?

Yes.

It has been 2 years since my last share. Does the “clock” of 45 days begin when the first photo download occurs as it did with my last share 2 years ago? Meaning actually downloading a file vs. when a picture is taken in the park. Are there new instructions? Things to know? Thank you.

I don’t remember the details I’m afraid, other than that it was complicated!

Photos expire 45 days from the date they were taken.

thank you lbellemare— as I said, it’s been 2 years since last share. Good to know on the 45 days. Do you know how much an extension costs?

I tried to find the answer but could not find it anywhere.
