Back in my high school art class, the teacher would make us give each of our pieces a “name” before they could be displayed in the semester’s show. We would all start out being very serious about names that “captured the meaning” then we would get bored and ask for help from the group. Of course, those titles were just random teenage gibberish. The best part of that method was watching people at the show try to figure out what the meaning behind the title was. And it keeps me from taking any artist’s titles seriously.
