I think the amazing part (particularly of Monet and Picasso and Klimt for me) is how they are able to capture something. An emotion, light and reflections. For example when I look at The Kiss it literally changes how I’m feeling and instead I’m feeling something empathetic. Where the interpretation comes in and therefore the discussion is that everything we view is absorbed and analyzed by our own experience in the way that music and a song can mean diff things to diff people. Stings song for example about being stalked by his ex wife is a love song to many.
