I somehow missed this one on the boat. I like how everyone is decked out for SWGE.

Well be in MK today too. I’m gonna try to rally the troops for that 730am bus now. Wish me luck cuz I have two teens who were up late.

We’re just getting ready to leave for MK. Not rushing cause we all need to take it easy today after all the walking yesterday.

I’ve had my first personal misfortune of the trip. (Slight TMI alert.) The skin on the pad of my big toe split. That skin on both my feet has always been chafed from walking on course sand or textured concrete at pools or at the beach - big toes do a lot of heavy lifting with balance. Anyway, it was bad enough that scraping it on the carpet in our hotel room was the final straw. It hurt like hell for two minutes. There was some blood. I couldn’t walk on it at all last night but this morning after a night with Neosporin and a Bandaid, I think it will be fine as long as I don’t go barefoot for a couple days. :grimacing:

The beds here are the most comfortable of the trip so far. The pillows are just the right size - at HRH they were too thick and the kids ended up sleeping without a pillow.

The kids are looking forward to a day focused on rides they will love!

Ouch. I’m sorry. :foot:

One good thing about WDW exterior room doors are they are hurricane rated per building codes. The doors are good at deadening outside noise.

I always mess up my feet. I bought ugly but comfortable sneakers that DD13 told me were “crusty” or something teens say but so far so good. I have some blister bandaids in my backpack if it’ll help and we bump into each other. We’re focusing on Tomorrow and Fantasyland today.

What we look like today.

Ouch! You might stop by the first aid station in MK (it’s behind Crystal Palace) and see if they can give you something a little better than a bandaid. They are so helpful and creative with random injuries.

Is that the Speedway? Awesome! We will be exclusively in Fantasyland today. So we just might bump into you!

My foot is feeling completely fine with socks and shoes on. I think it’s just barefoot that is problematic. I do have an extra bandaid and moleskin if it goes awry. Or I’ll try the first aid station as suggested. Thanks all!

Day 7 begins! We left the room right at 9am, which is pretty good, all things considered. The app says we have about a 10 minute wait for the MK bus.

Matching ears for the crew. DW bought the Minnie ears and then made makeshift Mickey ears for DS. I’m relieved that he isn’t put off by the sequins. :slightly_smiling_face: I don’t like headwear in general so DBIL and I are earless.
