I hope you have a fabulous time!!! As a party of 6, what type of room to you get? We are a party of 5, but as our kids are getting older and taller, I worry about the drop down bed option being comfortable.

Have a great trip! Looking forward to reading about it, especially all of your Star Wars thoughts! And I see that you also have a Rainforest Cafe reservation. It doesn’t get a lot of love, but we eat there every time! Mostly for the volcano!
Have a safe flight tomorrow. Seeing all your kids makes me both happy and stressed about maneuvering through WDW for 2 weeks with them. Not that you and DW can’t handle it, but glad your SIL and BIL are coming too. You’ve planned the heck out of this, now go get 'em!

With DBIL and DSIL, there will be 8 of us, so we have 2BR villas at all the Disney resorts. At HRH we have 2 regular hotel rooms with 2 queens in each.
With just the six of us, we have been able to squeeze in a few places designed for 5 on non-Disney trips because DD2 is in a crib or pack’n’play. But once she’s older I think we’ll be stuck doing 2 rooms or a 2BR villa.

We are 6 as well and when we started going to Disney initially and DD5 was one and two we would squeeze into a single bedroom and stick her in the bathroom in a pack n play. Now, if it’s just the kids and I we can do a 1 bedroom. My kids range in age from 5 to 10 and they all currently love the pull down beds. But if it’s the six of us it’ll be a 2 bedroom and since we have to bump up to that room option we almost always try and invite one or two more people along to feel like we get more value from our room.

We left yesterday for a 24-day road trip and on Friday you better believe all the bathrooms got cleaned, the floors vacuumed and swept, and even the refrigerator got cleaned.

I definitely do it when I can but I can’t always do top to bottom.
What I do make sure of is that the “public” areas of the house are as clean as possible so that whoever is checking on the house and taking care of our cats sees our best.

Yup. We are thumbing our nose at Covid and the multiple rebooking we have made. We have considered inviting others to join us but in the end decided we need a good solid Disney family trip this time.

I don’t do top to bottom! But when I walk in the living room after a long travel day I can just relax in the tidiness. Of course this year we are leaving DS16 home alone (assuming the cruise goes ahead) so there will be no tidiness!
