Yep! I actually adopted my cat on Feb 29. I had to pick which day to celebrate in non-leap years - I put Feb 28 and March 1 on pieces of paper and a treat on each one. Whichever tread Merida went for first is her “Gotcha Day Observed” - Feb 28 was the winning treat.

There are so many great flowers and plants at Disney! I’ve been known to walk around with my macro lens on my big camera and a small spray bottle of water to get images of the flowers there. I could go there and just take pictures and not ride any rides.

Ok what is the best way to walk from Boardwalk bus stop to the HS path? We caught the BW bus since it was first but now I realize I don’t know how to get through the hotel or if I’ll need a room key to go the most direct route.

Smart move using Sunshine Seasons to eat your snack at. They always seem to have plenty of seating. So, what kind of sauces are we looking at on that table?

You shouldn’t need a key just walk this path… it will take you to HS. Use your MDE map too.

Thanks! It turns out our bus went a different way than I was expecting. I have no idea what resort we are going to. :joy:

Hey… for future reference you can always walk through public areas of a resort ie lobby etc. There shouldn’t ever be restrictions for access to their transportation routes.

So while on the bus, I suddenly noticed that we weren’t around any familiar sights in the Epcot / HS area. So I checked the map and we were just turning north toward the TTC. :flushed:

If I was going by proximity, this wasn’t the best option for a bus transfer. But I could have done worse choosing a resort to visit. :joy:

Remember kids - always read the sign twice before boarding a bus! :joy::joy::joy:

A bus to HS came within just a few minutes. Phew!

Not just that! Isn’t it genetically engineered cheese? (We weren’t sure what to make of that!?!)

Our dinner was lovely. Bread was so sweet and buttery. My filet and lobster tail was the best entree of the trip.

The Mac and cheese was great, but Homecomin’ beats it easily. Sweet potato was good thanks to cinnamon butter (can’t really go wrong there). Coconut shrimp was perfect.

The dessert - macadamia turtle pie - was reminiscent of Hula pie which we first had on our honeymoon in Hawaii (at Duke’s). The restaurant was very pleasant, though I might have asked for a table outside next time to have more privacy on our date. We were seated close to some families. We don’t mind, but, you know.

Kids had a great dinner with the DILs too …

(Supposedly they had a frozen pizza too. I hope. :joy:)

Your dinner looks great! We ate at the Boathouse last summer, it was one of our favorite meals of the trip. Your kiddos look super happy with their dinner as well.

Seriously! They brought it out and I was like “there’s no way we’ll make a dent in this!” Then we realized they didn’t bring us any spoons and we just sat there stupidly while people stared at us until we finally saw a server and flagged them down. :joy:
