Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving week! Can anyone tell my about Mardi Gras at Disney? My friend is staying at Port Orleans Riverside March 3-8. March 5 is Mardi Gras. Does this have any affect on crowds? Also, will they have anything special at the resort this day making this a good day to take a break as she plans on doing a day or two. She has two young girls, 5 and 6. Thanks in advance!!
They seem to have something going on at the resorts every year… I can’t find anything for 2019 yet but I would keep checking there website or facebook page.
I was there for Mardi Gras week in February of 2016 which does bring more people into the parks. Having a good Touring Plan is always essential, I didn’t have any issues with our plan or the crowds!
