Magic Kingdom Park Hours 4/17/2018

Just passed our 180 day mark for our April trip and just found that they updated the park hours at Magic Kingdom to 9am-6pm on 4/17/2018. I’m baffled. We already planned on going to MK that day and booked all our ADR’s for the week around that.

I’ve never seen shortened hours like that in April when it’s typically moderately busy. Does anyone have a clue as to what’s going on that day?

I am not sure but I would check the date on the Unofficial guide calendar. I know this happens for the Mickey’s not so Scary Halloween and the Mickey’s Very Merry Xmas.

The official site doesn’t go that far yet, but if it’s confirmed it’s possibly either a private event or a cast night.
