This might be a dumb question but what happens if you forget to charge your band? Do you only lose the special features or are you locked out.
Any action that involves tapping (tapstyles, entering rooms, etc), does not require any charge, since the RFID chip is passively powered by the tapstyle itself. You only lose access to “remote” features, such as automatic photo detection, statue interaction, etc., if there is no battery charge left.
